It was our first time buying food from there. We bought a family meal, and it was so good! And a very nice amount of food for the price!!!!!! We really liked it! I also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with corn! I loved that sandwich. Family meal included chicken, pork, garlic bread, fries, loaded mashed potatoes .

A must come see call karaoke night. The atmosphere is amazing. It matches the food. It is worth the value. The environment is very clean and there is plenty of parking and plenty of room for people that have mobility issues.

The waiter Cory was awesome and down to earth. The food was great as well! Clean establishment! Will visit again in the future.

Gia is freaking amazing! Her customer service is second to none and the food was amazing as always. I absolutely love smokeybones! It always supercede my expectations!

We came back to give it another shot. We have always loved the food and drinks here. Our last visit was borderline catastrophic this visit complete 360 our server. Geo was very informative new about the specials that were available. She even told me the draft beer that they were out of before I ordered, our orders were all very accurate food came out in a very timely manner. The kids were sucking down sweet tea, lemonade, and she was on top of all the refills in a very timely manner. Our section was clean Josie, The mod helped with delivering the food and checking in on us. We had a very long day with all the kids, painting and remodeling our house and the dinner the food the service everything was amazing. I can’t stress enough The amazingness and Service that was provided by Geo. She was phenomenal. I’m positive that it was a one time occurrence on our last visit and with what we experience service wise today and the food has always been amazing. We will definitely continue to be regulars at Smoky Bones in Newport News.

It is karaoke night, and a live music is awesome. There are plenty of TVs to watch sports. The atmosphere is outstanding. What's the place I would recommend stopping by, if you have an opportunity. I believe you will be satisfied. At least on karaoke night.

Every dish arrived promptly and was presented with care, and our water glasses were never left empty. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. When they overheard us mention a birthday, they surprised us with a beautifully plated dessert—on the house. That small gesture turned a great night into an unforgettable one. The food was decent, but the service truly made the evening special. It's rare to feel both taken care of and completely at ease while dining out, and Smokey Bones delivered on every level. We’ll absolutely be returning—and recommending it to everyone we know.
